Paintings of scenes in Teochew, China

Khor Seow Hooi went to Teochew, China in May 2013. He was invited by the Teochew Association of Malaysia to travel to China for 1 week. The objective of the trip was to find inspiration to paint 3 watercolour paintings. These paintings were to be put on exhibition from 15th to 17th August 2013 at the Sunway Resort and Spa, Selangor. Teochew province is famed for its delicate and exquisite porcelain, wood carving and culinary delights.

One of the paintings produced was of a beautiful and picturesque scene of a gazebo in the middle of the West Lake.

Another painting produced was of the famous 1,200-year-old temple in the province.
